Our lessons bear a strong focus on technique and vocal health, allowing students to explore their voice in a safe and efficient manner. Lessons entail enriching experiences that teach students how to tap into the art of storytelling through the means of applying interpretive artistry and songwriting.
As a singer it is important to learn the necessary practical and character skills required to navigate one’s way through the ever evolving global music industry. Lessons and events place an emphasis on providing ‘real’ life experiences for students that replicate various situations one would experience when pursuing a career within the industry.
At Cassandra Ame Artist Development we offer both private and group lessons. Lessons are carefully tailored to each individual’s abilities and how each student learns best. This way our teachers will be able to get the best out of you and your voice.
Both private and group lessons bear numerous benefits. Selecting which type of lesson is the right fit for you will be dependent upon where you are in your singing journey. Private lessons are a great starting point for students that are new to singing and for students that have a sole focus they are working towards such as an audition, gig, single launch or performance. Group lessons are fun, interactive and are great for building confidence. They are designed with a strong focus on team work, collaborative learning, weekly performance practice and aural music ear development.
Both private and group classes are structured in the same manner. Lessons commence with vocal warm-ups and stretching, followed by technical work, song studies: where your teacher will guide you in applying the technical work you have learnt, and concluding with your teacher setting tasks for your practice week at home.
